The Safe House Wellness and Recovery is dedicated to providing compassionate support and community outreach for individuals facing addiction, mental health challenges, homelessness, and food insecurity. We work to empower people to heal, find stability, and reclaim their lives through a holistic and inclusive approach to wellness and recovery.
Our Community Outreach Program is dedicated to providing life-saving resources, education, and support to individuals struggling in Los Angeles County.
Community Outreach
Through this initiative, we aim to meet immediate needs, promote dignity, and create pathways to long-term recovery and wellness. Our team also engages with the community by hosting street outreach initiatives ensuring that those in need have access to resources without judgment.
The goal of our community outreach is to reduce the risk of overdose and support individuals in early recovery or active use by distributing relapse prevention kits that include Narcan, hygiene supplies, information on recovery resources, and a nutritious meal. Our outreach efforts are focused on individuals experiencing substance use disorder, homelessness, those living with mental health challenges, and people facing food insecurity.
