House Rules and Guidelines
We are committed to maintaining a safe, supportive, and respectful environment where individuals can work toward lasting recovery. All residents are required to adhere to the following house rules to ensure the well-being and success of everyone in the home.
Sobriety and Abstinence:
Residents are expected to remain completely sober at all times.
No alcohol, drugs, or any controlled substances are allowed on the property, including prescription medication not prescribed to the individual.
Random drug and alcohol screenings may be conducted.
Curfew:
Curfew is at 10:00 PM on weekdays, and 12:00 AM on weekends unless authorized by house management.
Any late arrivals must inform the house manager in advance.
All residents must sleep at the house each night unless authorized by house management.
Respect and Communication:
All residents must respect one another’s privacy and space.
Open, honest, and respectful communication is expected at all times.
Verbal or physical abuse, bullying, and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
Chores and Responsibilities:
Each resident is responsible for completing assigned chores and maintaining cleanliness in both common areas and personal spaces.
Chores will be assigned on a weekly basis and should be completed by the designated time.
Personal items must be kept tidy and organized. (Beds are to be made when unoccupied)
Visitors:
Visitors are allowed only during designated visiting hours and must be approved by the house manager in advance.
Visitors must be sober at all times.
Residents are responsible for their visitors’ behavior.
Meetings and Participation:
All residents are required to attend mandatory weekly Relapse Prevention meetings on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM, unless authorized by house management.
Residents must participate in house meetings and any scheduled activities.
No Violence or Illegal Activity:
Violence, threats, or aggressive behavior will result in immediate termination of residency.
Engaging in any illegal activity on or off the premises is strictly prohibited.
Smoking and Vaping:
Smoking and vaping are permitted only in designated outdoor areas.
Smoking indoors is prohibited.
Alcohol and Substance-Use Paraphernalia:
Paraphernalia of any kind (pipes, needles, etc.) is strictly prohibited.
Personal Hygiene and Health:
Residents must maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness.
Any health concerns should be reported to the house manager immediately.
Program Compliance:
Failure to follow house rules may result in disciplinary action, including probation or discharge from the sober living home.
Each resident must maintain a commitment to their recovery process and follow any additional guidelines set by house management.
Privacy and Confidentiality:
All residents’ personal information and recovery progress will be kept confidential.
Respect for each resident’s privacy is paramount.
