The safe house wellness and Recovery offers a range of programs and services designed to
support recovery and well-being. Our services are often focused on providing culturally,
competent care, emotional support, skill building, and empowerment. Residents have access to
the following programs and services:
Case Management: Individualized care plans that track progress, verify that treatment plans are
followed, and assure that recovery goals are met.
Holistic therapies: Aromatherapy, which can help reduce stress and promote overall wellness.
Music and art therapy: Encouraging self expression through art, music and other creative outlets.
Networking: Opportunities to connect with other women in recovery, as well as professionals
and mentors who can offer guidance and support.
Women’s Circles: A Safe space for women to connect, share experiences and empower one another.
Housing Assistance: Support in finding long-term stable housing.
Nutrition and Fitness: Cooking Classes, Wellness Workshops, Yoga and Self-Care.
Mental Health Service: Addressing Anxiety, PTSD and Depression.
Education: GED Programs, College Prep, and Vocational Training Assistance.
Financial literacy: Workshops on Maintaining Finances, Budgeting, and Building Savings to Promote Financial Independence.
Job Readiness: Mock Job Interviews and Resume Writing Assistance.
House managers will tailor the specific needs of each resident to assure that they received the
most appropriate and supportive care.
